What's involved

Don’t just break the ice, totally smash it with interactive Cocktail Making in Cardiff! Head to Las Iguanas in the city centre where the drinks start flowing immediately as each member of your team receives a welcome caipirinha cocktail. They’ve won awards so you know they’re good! As they sip their drinks, their dedicated bartender will perform cocktail making demonstrations to show them all the tricks of the trade before it’s their turn to mix, muddle, shake and stir two drinks each. Fun games get everyone involved and laughing. Watch them get competitive as they go head to head with tandem cocktail making races! A farewell cocktail finishes things off. For a complete Cardiff team building package, once the masterclass is over, your team will sit down to a delicious two-course meal. Each of them will choose either a starter and main or a main course and dessert from a big set menu.

Important information

Age restriction: 18+. Please bring proof of ID. Please arrive 15 minutes before your session starts. If you are late, the class will not be extended. Choose to make two cocktails from a set menu. Meal: Choose from either a starter and a main course or a main and a dessert. Menus subject to change. Dress code: Smart casual. No trainers, sportswear, hats or hoods. Timings on groups: For large groups taking part in an activity timings may vary depending on the group and venue, please ensure that adequate time is left between any activities taking place elsewhere afterwards – Las Iguanas cannot be held responsible in any-way for guests being late to or not attending activities elsewhere after attending either a meal or activity at one of our venues.

Starter
Nachos
Corn tortilla chips with melted cheese, topped with pico de gallo sauce, jalapenos, tomato salsa, soured cream and guacamole.
Vegetarian. Ask for gluten free.
Fiesta Ensalada
Roasted butternut squash, mixed leaves, carrot, cucumber, pink pickled onions, oven-dried tomatoes and fresh avocado, tossed in a poppy seed dressing. Topped with toasted pumpkin seeds, charred corn and roquito peppers.
Vegetarian and gluten free.
Pato Taquito
Shreds of roast duck and caramelised onion rolled in a flour tortilla and chargrilled, with spicy cranberry salsa.
Dadinhos
Our take on a Brazilian favourite, crispy cheesy cubes served with sticky chilli jam.

Chicken Wings
Spicy hot chicken wings sauced up with: Honey peri-peri / Spicy BBQ jerk / Vivo; hot habanero.
Albondigas
Patagonian-style lamb meatballs with apple, mint, parmesan and a pinch of nutmeg. Braised in a rich tomato, mint and mid chilli sauce and served with ciabatta.
Main
Xinxim
A classic recipe from north Brazil. Chicken and crayfish in our creamy lime and peanut sauce with spring onion rice, fine green beans, coconut farofa and sweet plantain.

Moqueca De Peixe
Peeled prawns, white fish and peppers cooked in a homemade creamy coconut, fresh tomato and lime sauce with spring onion rice, sweet plantain, pico de gallo and a coconut farofa to sprinkle.
Beetroot, Avocado and Cranberry Ensalada
Avocado, dried cranberries, baby spinach and coriander, in a poppy seed dressing with a spiced beetroot salsa and sprinkled with candied spiced almonds.

Gaucho Steak
10oz sirloin steak with fresh herb chimichurro, Argentine-style roasted sweetcorn puree and a choice of roasted sweet potato mash, fries or salad.

Moqueca De Palmitos
Butternut squash, palm hearts and spinach in a creamy coconut curry with charred red peppers, garlic and fresh tomatoes. With spring onion rice, sweet plantain, pico de gallo and a coconut farofa to sprinkle.

Veggie Chilli
Sweet potato, butternut squash and chickpeas braised with spiced tomatoes, served with spring onion rice, soft wheat tortillas, soured cream and pink pickled onion.

Fajitas
Freshly cooked to order in our special mix of spices, onions and peppers. Dished up sizzling with guacamole, grated cheese, soured cream, jalapenos, roasted tomato salsa and soft wheat tortillas. Choose from chicken breast strips or Portobello mushroom.
Blazing Bird
Our spicy chicken marinated with our fiery sauce with creamy slaw and fries or salad. Sauced up with your choice: Honey peri-peri / Spicy BBQ jerk / Vivo; hot habanero.
Enchilada
Rolled tortilla with smoky chipotle sauce on a bed of spring onion rice with refried beans and topped with cheese. Choose: Roast butternut squash, red peppers, spinach and cheese or spicy chicken, pepper, onion and cheese.
Chilli Con Carne
A rich, chunky beef and black bean chilli, with spring onion rice and jalapeno buttermilk cornbread. Choose a spiced butter to melt into your chilli: Mild – Cocoa and ancho chilli / Medium – Smoky chipotle butter / Hot – Habanero and pequin chilli.
Dessert
Dulce De Leche Macadamia Cheesecake
Creamy cheesecake with roasted macadamia nuts and dulce de leche caramel sauce.

Tembleque
A creamy, set coconut pudding with mixed berries and mango puree.
Vegetarian and gluten free.
Pina Colada Mess
Pina Colada ice cream with caramelised pineapple salsa, crispy pineapple pieces and toasted coconut chips.
