You’ll be split into teams where you’ll need to follow the regular rules of cricket in a shorter amount of time. Instead of lasting for days, this match will last between 60 – 120 minutes, and there will be 10 overs per innings, perfect if you’re celebrating a birthday bash or stag weekend in Cardiff.

All equipment will be provided for you including wickets, bats and balls. You’ll also get an experienced event coordinator who’ll act as umpire throughout the match. So, cheaters beware!

In your teams, you’ll take it in turns to be either fielders or batters. If you’re a fielder, you’ll spread out around the pitch and get ready to catch the ball if it comes hurling your way. If you catch it before it hits the grown, the opposite team’s batter is out.

If you’re on the batting team, you’ll take it in turns to stand in front of the wicket with a bat. The bowler will throw the ball at the wicket and it’ll be up to you to knock it out the way before it does. And then, all you’ll need to do is run!

Don’t worry if you’ve never played this before. Your umpire will explain all the rules to you. There will be forfeits for the losers and you’ll get the chance to play your joker. So, you better keep your wits about you if you want to ace this cricket match in Cardiff!
