Later Spring through to early Autumn is the busiest time of year for this city, with peak times throughout the Summer months. If you’re looking for cheaper accommodation your best bet is to try and plan for spring or autumn when the weather is still relatively warm without the hike in prices throughout the city.
A great alternative is also heading to Liverpool in the Winter! Although this isn’t typically the most widely advertised time of year to visit. Around Christmas time there’s always plenty of festive markets to visit with everyone getting into that holiday spirit. Of course, the weather might not be at its best but then you could always have bad weather at any time of the year! At least this way you know you’ll be prepared for it with a big coat.

Alternatively, if you prefer to get those legs moving why not all hop on a citybike and rent a bike for the hour, or day, and get around the city on two wheels. Equally, walking is a popular option and might serve you some good after a particularly heavy night on the town! Fresh air is always a good option.
