Don't worry, there's no pressure to feel immediately relaxed and zen. Just focus on trying something new and keeping your balance.

What happens if I'm unable to do certain moves and poses?

If you have any injuries, just let your yoga instructor know at the start of the class and they will suggest some modified poses during the session

Yoga is the perfect way to unwind, relax and feel those aches and stresses leave your body, involving both physical and mental exercise. This ancient form of exercise originated in India where it's now become a global phenomenon and adapted in various ways throughout the world. Yoga is a series of movements that are designed to improve your posture, strength and flexibility as well as helping to strengthen your breathing at the same time. There are many different forms of yoga that focus on various aspects such as more of a focus on strengthening over flexibility and visa versa. A Yoga class is a great group exercise where you can invite all your favourite people along and enjoy some calm after a heavy night out! Or it's equally fun if you're just wanting something to do in the day that’s suitable for all ages and levels of experience!

There’ll be a professional instructor on-hand who’ll guide you through each exercise and stopping to make sure everyone’s in the correct position before moving on. This way you can make the most out of your class, no matter what state you’re in from the night before (!) and enjoy something new with your friends. From Rocket, Vinyasa and Hatha, there’s many different varieties of Yoga to try and something each instructor will have studied to find the right one that suits them. All you need to do is come with an open mind to try something new and of course some comfortable clothes you can freely move around in! As you assume the various Yoga positions you’ll be glad you’re in some stretchy clothing! This is a great activity to do for a special occasion or simply just wanting to try something new with your friends. This is a great option for a hen party, a birthday party or as a virtual activity.
