Prepare to take to the skies and reach new heights with this unforgettable hot air balloon experience in Bath!
Launching from the city’s beautiful Royal Victoria Park, you’ll make your way to the meeting point where the professional ground team and hot air balloon pilot will greet you. Your pilot will perform a final weather check and take you through a full safety briefing before your experience. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, which your pilot will be happy to answer.
Once you’ve got the go ahead on the weather, you and your group will help to assemble the hot air balloon, flat against the floor, ready for the cold inflation - soon, the hot air balloon will be standing at some 90ft tall!
It won’t be long until take off, and before you know it, the pilot and your fellow guests will be rising into the skies - get ready for the most amazing 360 degree views in the open air. Your flight will be incredibly peaceful, the only noises you’ll hear will be the sounds of nature and the occasional whoosh of the burner! As the balloon ascends to higher altitudes, you’ll be able to gaze at the beautiful rolling hills and enjoy the views of Georgian Bath from above!
During the flight, your pilot will be on hand to capture photos so that you’ll have memories that will last a lifetime. Your flight will last between 60-90 minutes, so there will be plenty of time to relax and take in the sights. Once you've landed, you and your guests will be offered a delicious drink - perfect for rounding off this top experience in pure style!

Important information

- Times: Times vary throughout the year due to sunrise and sunset times but usually meet 30 mins after sunrise for AM or 2 hours before sunset for PM.
- Fit to fly: For safety reasons, you can't fly if you're pregnant. You can't fly if you have recently undergone major surgery. Please tell us about any medical or physical condition that could be considered to affect your safety or the safety of others.
- Please note: You need to be able to climb in and out of the basket, stand unassisted for an hour and be able to bend your knees and hold on. Passengers must also be able to fully understand and follow all instructions given by the pilot.
