During a pole dancing lesson, it’s recommended you allow for bare arms and legs so that you have the best grip of the pole. So, shorts and a t-shirt would be just fine. If you’d prefer to wear leggings, then feel free! Just be aware you may struggle to keep your legs gripped around the pole!

Absolutely! It doesn’t matter what gender you are or what body shape you are, pole dancing is suitable for anyone who wants to tone up and work out their arms and their core. However, over 18s only please!

Is Pole Dancing Easy?

Yes and no. The basics are fairly easy to get to grips with, but if you want to master some of the more advanced moves, you’re probably going to need a bit more practise! Pole dancing requires a lot of upper-body and core strength. So, if you can get that nailed, you’ll be holding yourself up sideways in no time!

It’s not a requirement, but it certainly helps! Pole dancing is an amazing form of exercise that helps work out and tone up your arms, core, butt and legs. The stronger you are, the easier it will be to do some of the tricker moves. But hey, everyone’s got to start somewhere, right?
