Be prepared to rely on your senses and recognise how vital they are to our everyday lives. SENSAS’ experience takes you on a whirlwind journey through your senses as you travel through their sensory labs, completing challenging tasks, sometimes in total darkness! This playful and exciting experience is also a conscientious one. Throughout your experience, you will win tokens that determine how much money SENSAS will donate to their chosen charities supporting those with disabilities at the end of your experience.

Terms and Conditions

2. The Customer selects a desired day and time-slot for a session, enters the type and numbers of participants attending (types being adults, children or students) followed by contact details, and finally proceeds with the payment of a non-refundable £70 deposit to secure the booking.

3. Bookings are only valid for the chosen day and time-slot, and the sale is made final after receipt by the Customer of a confirmation email sent by SENSAS London. Booking cannot be made less than 24h for the following day.

4. Bookings are intended for personal use only and reserved sessions cannot be exchanged, transferred or sold on for profit. Breach of this condition will entitle SENSAS to cancel your booking without prior notification, refund, compensation or liability.

5. To prevent fraud and to protect you and SENSAS, we may carry out checks and/or you may be asked to provide additional information (such as a copy of a credit or debit card statement) after your booking has been confirmed, so we can verify your purchase.

If we suspect fraud, we may cancel any booking.

Failure to supply these may result in the cancellation of your booking.

6. You must inform SENSAS of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the booking confirmation by email.

7. You should take care to provide a current, valid email address and be aware that your email filter settings may treat our emails as spam or direct them to your junk folder.

8. We reserve the right to operate a dynamic pricing model, meaning that prices may go up or down. Throughout the year we may offer seasonal promotions and discounts. The price of your tickets will be confirmed at the time of booking.

9. Our premises and all sessions are recorded using cameras for the health and safety of you and our staff and to provide our services. Booking a session with us affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as a participant of our Multi-Sensory Experience.

10. If you are making the booking on behalf of others participants in your group, it is your responsibility to ensure that everyone agree to these terms and are in receipt of all relevant information relating to the booking. SENSAS shall not be responsible if members of your group are unable to participate in the Experience as a result of you failing to provide them with all the relevant information.

CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND REFUNDS

11. All paid deposits are non-refundable.

12. We require a minimum of four participants to guarantee bookings, but at SENSAS you only pay for the actual number of participants on D-Day.

13. If you wish to cancel your booking, please make sure to notify us at least 72 hours in advance of your session, otherwise we will not be able to initiate a refund.

For cancellation made less than 72 hours in advance of a session, the minimum charge fee applied will equal to the full price for four adults minus the deposit previously paid (£136 – £70 = £66)

CANCELLATION, CHANGE OR POSTPONEMENT OF A BOOKING

14. Decisions to change or cancel bookings are the responsibility of SENSAS. SENSAS cannot guarantee to inform you of any change or cancellation of any session or be held responsible for refunds or for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation, any other related goods or service or other compensation.

15. You should always check that your session is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue.

16. If SENSAS cancels a booking or makes significant changes to the venue, date, or session time, SENSAS will endeavour to inform you in advance of the session time. Customers will usually be contacted by email, however in urgent cases contact may be by phone.

17. If a session is rescheduled, changed or moved by SENSAS you will be given the option of either exchanging your tickets for a new date or crediting the value of your booking for use at a future time.

18. If a booking is cancelled by SENSAS you will be offered the above options (point 17) or if these options are unsuitable you may be offered a refund. Please note that any deposit paid are not refundable in these circumstances.

FORCE MAJEURE

19. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the service of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure”. In these booking conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we (SENSAS) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

COVID-19

20. During the COVID-19 global pandemic customers book in full knowledge of the changeable circumstances set by current government legislation.

21. Should a change in current legislation mean that you are no longer able to attend your session at SENSAS, we will offer to rebook you for a future session once legislation allows. SENSAS are unable to offer a refund under such circumstances.

22. Should a change in legislation force the closure of a venue, all affected customers will be credited the value of their tickets for future use once legislation allows. SENSAS are unable to offer a refund under such circumstances.

REFUNDS

23. Except where outlined above, no refunds will be offered under any circumstances.

ATTENDING A SESSION

24. Participants are warned at the time of booking online and upon arrival that the activity is experienced wearing socks, and are asked to remove and leave all personal belongings – including smartphones, watches and jewellery – in the provided lockers before the start of the session. Wearing masks to protect our staff and the participants are also required at all time in our premises.

25. At the time of booking online and before the start of the session, participants are asked to mention any allergy, food intolerance or pregnancy. SENSAS has no responsibility whatsoever for any injuries or sickness of any kind suffered at or in connection with the session if participants were not aware or did not mention anything to the staff.

26. SENSAS cannot be held liable in the event of the disappearance of personal items in the cloakrooms and lockers, and has no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage of any kind suffered at or in connection with any SENSAS event (including loss, damage or theft any personal property during a session). It is the responsibility of the participant having lost personal belongings during a session to liaise with SENSAS and arrange for the searches and potential recovery at the participant’s costs.

27. Admission to a session is always subject to any terms, conditions or rules of SENSAS. If you breach those terms, conditions or rules then SENSAS may refuse admission or require you or other participants to leave the venue without refund.

28. Amongst other things you will need to comply with health and safety rules and any security requirements (including potential security searches for the safety of those attending the session). SENSAS will have rights to refuse admission or reject you in certain circumstances and these are likely to include if you have consumed alcohol or illegal substances before participating, are involved with verbal violence, abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour, or carry offensive weapons or illegal or prohibited substances or make unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.

29. The SENSAS Multi-Sensory Experience is only open to guests aged 7+. Bookings with guests aged under 18 must have at least 1 paying and participating adult « supervisor » (18+) per team. 7-17 year olds attending without an accompanying adult will not be able to play and no refund will be offered/ given. From ten guests aged under 18 participating, a supervisor can accompany them along the way, for free.

Alternatively, it is possible for a member of our staff to accompany them, for free.

30. Upon arrival at SENSAS London you will be required to scan a QR code and complete a form for right of use and health and safety waiver. Failure to sign this will result in you being unable to participate, and no refund will be offered.

This is in line with our health and safety policy.

31. Please arrive no later than the time stated on the booking. Latecomers may not be admitted and no refund will be offered.

32. The SENSAS Experience includes physical challenges, if you are doubtful that you may be able to complete these please contact contact-london (at) sensas.top for more information.

33. For the purposes of the experience, participants will have to manipulate objects and pieces of the decor. It is strictly forbidden to break or damage these objects and the overall installations. SENSAS reserves the right to held participants responsible and require the payment for the replacements of the broken items, who agree to this upon booking their session.

34. When you receive your booking confirmation by email please check the details carefully. When attending the event, carry proof of age if appropriate.

35. The SENSAS Multi-Sensory Experience can be played in groups of a maximum of 15 participants at a time.

36. In order to maintain the interest and confidentiality of the experience, any sound or video recording and any photos are strictly prohibited in the facilities linked to the Multi-Sensory Experience, the Sensory Labs and SAS. Participants can record sound, video or photo in other rooms of the premises such as in the cloakrooms, anti-gravity room, reception and corridors.

PRIVACY

37. Your information will not be shared outside of SENSAS without your consent (as part of the booking process or otherwise) unless required by law.

38. If you have registered with SENSAS and thereby given your consent and interest in receiving marketing or other information, you may be contacted with relevant promotions, offers or information that you have expressed an interest in or that might be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive further material please email contact-london (at) sensas.top.

39. We will always respect your privacy and any personal communication between you and ourselves. We will always comply with United Kingdom data protection legislation.

GENERAL

40. SENSAS cannot be liable in any way for the acts or omissions of others. However, SENSAS does not seek to exclude its liability to you for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or any other liability which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.

41. These terms and conditions do not create any rights or obligations enforceable by or against anyone other than SENSAS and you.

42. The purchase by you of tickets and these terms and conditions (and any contractual or non-contractual matters arising in relation to these terms and conditions) are governed by English law and any disputes arising out of any transaction between you and SENSAS are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

43. Pricing is subject to change at any time and without notice.

GIFT VOUCHERS

44. Your gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Tickets must be booked and redeemed within this period.

45.Gift Vouchers are non-refundable under any circumstances.

46. The value of a Gift Voucher is redeemable against the face value of tickets in your basket, if the value of your basket is higher than the value of your voucher you will need to pay the difference in balance.

47. Should the value of your Gift Voucher exceed the amount in your basket the remaining balance will be stored as credit which can be used against a future booking. No cash value, or change will be given.
