What was Europe’s first four-person zip line, Titan 2 evolved in 2021 to become an exhilarating tour and zip experience, containing 1 kilometre of the same four-person parallel zipping action, while adding an in-depth tour of this historic location to delight all ages.
Your day out begins with the tour, lasting around 45 minutes, as you climb on board one of our iconic former army trucks. Twisting and turning throughout Llechwedd slate quarry, you’ll travel up to an impressive height of 1,400 ft on the area’s incredible manmade mountains, while taking in the sights of the authentic, industrial landscape.
After exploring the area dotted with quarry mills and cutting sheds, you’ll kit up ready for your double zip line descent. Traveling over 1 kilometre with stunning views of the quarry below and Blaenau Ffestiniog with Snowdonia beyond, you’ll speed back down to earth in a seated position – all the better for enjoying those panoramic vistas. In total, the adventure takes about 90 minutes to complete.
With four parallel lines, Titan 2 is ideal for family activity days out, group days or just something to do as a couple, allowing you to race down the zips against each other. With the new tour experience though, even solo explorers will have a great time learning about the area before their once-in-a-lifetime zip.
Important information
Titan in Snowdonia lasts for two hours over the summer months (March to October).
During the winter, the Titan experience only runs two zipwires out of the three.
You will be required to walk a short distance uphill between the Bravo and Charlie zip lines.
Please note, this activity is weather dependent.
Ride in groups of four. Each session will be with a maximum of 16 riders. For groups of more than 16, there will be multiple sessions.
Age restriction: 18+.
Duration: 1.5 to two hours.
Please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your start time. Customers should allow approximately two hours for the Zip World Titan summer experience.
Maximum height: 2m (6 ft 6). Minimum height: 120cm (4ft).
Please wear trainers and comfortable clothes.
