What's involved

The Wizard Afternoon Tea in Edinburgh is an interactive tea brewing experience at The Cauldron.

Select your magic wand and cast spells at your workstation where you’ll find your tea stand and open your puzzle chest containing your ingredients.

Brew two different interactive teas, experimenting with the science of tea brewing and molecular gastronomy.

Guidance will be given so that anyone can become a wizard at tea brewing!

Then it’s time to sit back and relax as you try your tasty teas.

You’ll also tuck into a delicious afternoon tea including sandwiches (or should that be sandwitches?), scones and desserts.

Your experience lasts around one hour and 45 minutes and is great fun for anyone who loves magic, whether you’re having a fun day out or celebrating a birthday or hen do in Edinburgh.

Important information

- Available times: Thursday - Sunday. Group size up to a maximum of 16 people at either 11.45am or 1.45pm. Group size of up to 12 people at either 10.45am, 12.45pm or 2.45pm. - Please note, we can not amend or substitute items on the menu and can only offer a vegan, vegetarian or gluten free alternative. - There is a £3 surcharge for a vegan, vegetarian or gluten free menus. These must be ordered at least 5 days in advance. - Items may contain nuts and those that don't may contain trace elements. We cannot offer a nut-free menu. - Menus subject to change.
