Ditch the boardroom for the taproom and reward your team with a trip to the bustling Borough Market and a tour of its finest craft beers.
You’ll be guided around the surrounding area and past significant landmarks of London’s brewing history, including the old Anchor Brewery, which was one of the biggest in the world during the 1800s.
You’ll visit the old Hop Exchange, where, in the 19th century, hops grown in the hop gardens of Kent were traded in the capital. It remains the only London ‘Exchange’ building still standing.
Another lone architectural survivor on the route is the George, a Medieval pub that is the last galleried coaching inn in the city.
And no journey into London’s brewing past would be complete without some quality beers to try, so of course you’ll be offered tastings at various venues where you’ll sample a number of different beer styles.
Nibbles and light bites that pair with the beers are also included, so all you need to do is show up and your expert guide will do the rest.
