Gaelic Football and Hurling

Looking for something a little different to do on your stag weekend in Dublin? If you and your mates normally love a game of footie, why not see if you have the luck of the Irish and try out an afternoon of Gaelic football and Hurling.

You’ll be met at a local pitch by your referee, who will show you all the basics behind both classic Irish sports. Split your group up into two teams, get kitted up and get ready to play!

For hurling, you’ll be competing to lob balls between your opponents’ goal posts using a stick called a hurley. For Gaelic football, you’ll be playing a fun mix of classic football and rugby as you kick, throw and carry a ball to get it in your opponents’ goal. 

This is the perfect opportunity for a bit of healthy competition! Whoever scores the most goals will definitely have earned a free pint that night.
